Compact size
Of compact, twin unit construction, the
EMGA is perfect for on-site analysis at
the furnace or installation in an analytical
laboratory alongside other instrumenta-
tion. The two units, together with a printer
and an optional electronic balance, take
up less than two square meters of bench
space.
Comparison function
Any 2 data items can be compared. By
selecting reference data from the data
stored in memory, the original data (data
to be compared) can be displayed on
the screen as a solid line and the refer-
enced as a dotted line. After compari-
son, the differential data can be used for
section processing and integration
using the cursor function, or printed out
to show the advantages of this integrat-
ed data processing system.
Graphic data memory function
The graphic data can be stored in memo-
ry and displayed when required. After
storing the extraction curves of basic or
standard samples, they can be used for
comparison with any other desired sam-
ple.
Scale adjustment function
The scale of the vertical and the horizon-
tal axes on the colour TFT can be adjust-
ed to expand or reduce the time scale
and extraction intensity. This is useful
for observing very small peaks in extrac-
tion gas curves by enlarging the image
or for checking one specific section of
temperature rise data over a long peri-
od.
Cursor function
With the cursor function it is possible to
display the real output value and temper-
ature at the time shown by the cursor.
