OXYGEN/NITROGEN ANALYZER

Series
METAL
The HORIBA EMGA-620W Series determines the oxygen and nitrogen
contained in ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ores, new materials and other
inorganic materials using the inert gas fusion method. The oxygen is measured
as carbon monoxide by a non-dispersive infrared detector and the nitrogen by
a thermal conductivity detector.
The EMGA-620W is equipped with a variety of analysis modes to ensure
ideal analysis conditions whatever the sample. The EMGA-620W series features
vastly improved control of the extraction furnace to provide high precision
analysis to suit a broad range of user needs. The EMGA-620W provides
real-time monitoring of sample heating and gas extraction on a colour screen
as a standard item.
In addition its data processing function gives it a powerful extra analytical
advantage.
The EMGA-620W Series also features user-friendly functions that make it the
best and most simple to operate instrument available for the full spectrum of
analysis applications from R & D to on-site analysis.

In response to customer needs, five dif-
ferent combinations of analysis condi-
tions (extraction condi-
tions, operation mode)
and calibration curves
can be pre-programmed.
Three operation modes
are also available. For ex-
ample the operator can
select not only between
block and powder modes
depending upon the na-
ture of the sample, but also a special
block mode that outgasses the crucible
in advance and then waits on standby to
shorten the analysis time.
