Section 11 - Installation of Car Seat in Vehicle (continued)

To adjust the base installation angle and car seat recline:

Identify the black line on Recline Indicator that will provide the

proper recline for infant.

Place base on vehicle seat and check position of Bubble in

Recline Indicator.

• If Bubble is centered on the proper line for

infant’s weight, proceed to “Securing Base

with LATCH system” section 11b or “Securing

Base with a Vehicle Seat Belt” section 11c.

• If Bubble is not centered on the proper line

for infant’s weight (fig. h), adjust the base

installation angle for the vehicle seat by

continuing to follow steps 3 through 6.
