Section 7 - Securing Infant In Car Seat (continued)

• For proper harness fit:

- Shoulder harness slots MUST be positioned at or just

below top of shoulders. Maximum 1 inch (25 mm) below

shoulders.

• Prevent serious neck injury or death from ejection. Top of

headrest MUST be at least 1 inch (25 mm) above top of

infant’s head at all times when installed in a vehicle.

• Headrest MUST be securely locked in position.

WARNING

- DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur

To Adjust Headrest and Shoulder Belt Height:

1. Turn Headrest Adjustment Knob clockwise

(right) until it stops. DO NOT overturn.

2. While holding knob, slide knob and headrest

up or down to desired position .

3. Release knob, check

to make sure headrest

is locked in place by

pushing headrest up

and down.
